On May 30th and June 6th Denis Lakey will repeat the role of Segeste in Rinaldi's opera 'Arminio' at the Meininger Theater

Love In A Storm Of Coloratura by Christoph A. Brandner

Top marks were earned by the three excellent sopranos and coloratura experts, Iva Ionova (Arminio), Daniela Dott (Tusnelda) and Maria Rosendorfsky (Ramise), the brilliant countertenor Denis Lakey (Segeste) and the bass Jörn E. Werner (Varo). The nearly two-hour-long theatre experience was rewarded with befitting applause from the audience. The message of the finale was one of exultation, "And thus the god of love turns bitterness to joy." Those who want to see this will have to wait for the new season in Meiningen.
